This policy applies to hair extensions, installation services and other products supplied by Russian Doll Hair Extensions. It should be read together with our Terms of Service.
Your rights under Australian Consumer Law
Our goods and services come with consumer guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in this policy limits or excludes any rights or remedies you may have under that law.
Depending on the circumstances, those remedies may include a repair, replacement, refund, cancellation of a service or compensation. The change-of-mind conditions and voluntary installation support described below apply in addition to those rights.
Hair extensions before installation
Our hair extensions are pre-washed and air-dried before installation. We encourage you to inspect the hair and raise any concerns before the installation begins so that we can assess them with you.
Hair extensions after installation
Once hair extensions have been installed, they have been used, altered and prepared for one client. For hygiene reasons, we do not accept change-of-mind returns or exchanges after installation.
This does not affect your rights if the extensions or installation fail to meet a consumer guarantee under Australian Consumer Law.
Installation support
We want you to be comfortable with your installation. If bonds slip or you have another concern that may be related to the installation, contact us promptly. We offer complimentary correction of installation-related concerns reported within six weeks of the installation date.
This six-week commitment is a voluntary service promise. It does not replace or restrict any rights that may continue beyond that period under Australian Consumer Law.
Care and maintenance
The lifespan and condition of hair extensions are affected by care and maintenance. Please follow the aftercare guidance provided for your application.
Complimentary corrections and change-of-mind remedies do not cover problems caused by improper care, unreasonable use or failure to follow the supplied aftercare guidance. This does not affect any remedy available where the extensions or service fail to meet a consumer guarantee.
Other products
For products other than hair extensions, we offer a 30-day change-of-mind return or exchange where the product is unused, in its original condition and returned with its original packaging, tags and accessories.
These conditions apply only to change-of-mind returns. They do not limit your rights in relation to a faulty, unsafe, incorrectly described or otherwise non-compliant product.
How to raise a concern
Please contact us as soon as possible through our website contact form or by calling +61 433 619 321. Tell us what happened and provide your appointment or purchase details so that we can assess the appropriate next step.
We may need to inspect the hair, bonds or product before confirming a remedy. We will consider the circumstances, the condition of the hair or product, the service provided and any applicable consumer-law obligations.
